Wake Up the Earth Festival in Jamaica Plain! Parades start at 11am from the JP Monument, The YMCA in Egleston Square and Dudley Square. The festival runs from noon - 6pm with 6 stages, Bands, Vendors, amazing food, a farmer's market, non-profit row, children's activities all over the place, dance and yoga classes, healer's hollow and so much more.. Come Join us for the festivities! Free to the Public, Donations of any amount are welcome to keep us going year after year!! and if you want to volunteer to set up or clean up, help with a shift running kids activities, come the week before and help make art, paint banners and be a part of the community!! - 45 Danforth Street in Jamaica Plain at the Spontaneous Celebrations Community Arts Center every evening the week before the festival!! Wake Up the Earth has been going since the 1970's and is completely run by the community and mostly by volunteers like you!!
