Stand Against Racism Apr12

In honor of our 150th year of service to the Boston community, YW Boston is marking Stand 2016 by convening a special conversation on the state and meaning of race in Boston and across the country. We will be joined by Callie Crossley, Commentator, Radio and TV Host of WGBH's Under the Radar with Callie Crossley, Michael Jefferies, Associate Professor of American Studies at Wellesley College and author of Paint the White House Black, and Vernā Myers, Founder and President of the Vernā Myers Consulting Group and expert speaker on workplace inclusion and overcoming bias. The event will be highly participatory and result in greater understanding about the actions we all can take to eliminate racism in our community.
