Traveling Solo Workshop Sept10

For centuries, women have been traveling and doing it solo. Long before airplanes, seatbelts, backpacks for women, or the internet, women have always traveled. You can too!!

Come join Hostelling International Boston (HI-Boston) this Wednesday, September 10 for our signature travel workshop "Women Traveling Solo 101". You'll walk away with the confidence and skills to get there and away, stay in hostels and how to adapt a basic credo around respect and approaching unique situations. Workshop leader Emily Salomon, will share time-tested skills, safety pointers, and general travel resources on how to get the most out of your travel experience. Additionally, she'll share tips, tricks and practical advice from her own travels on what works best for solo female travelers. This workshop will be interactive and include exercises and discussions about solo travel experiences, itinerary planning and mapping out the basics. By the end, you should feel comfortable and ready to get out there and start your first solo journey!

Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
