JP Music Festival Aug6

The free, 4th annual JP Music Festival ( http://jpmusicfestival.com/ ) will be held at Pinebank Field ( http://goo.gl/maps/BAjlE ) on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 12–7 PM.

The festival will have two stages, with continuous music from 21 artists and bands. The festival features musicians, bands, group, or ensemblemembers who either live or work in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.

A 70 minute playlist featuring the 2014 artists can be heard on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/jpmusicfestival .

This year, Jamaica Plain-based Samuel Adams (http://www.samueladams.com/) is donating use of two trolleys to take residents to and from Pinebank field before and during the festival with live acoustic music on-board. These trolleys will make stops around JP and help decrease the need for parking near the concert site.

Trolly stops are: Stonybrook T station > JP Music Festival site > The Haven > Brendhan Behan Pub > Tres Gatos > Galway House/J.P. Licks/JP Seafood/Bukhara stop (bus stop across from Galway) > James’s Gate > Stonybrook T station. Live updates from the trolley via http://twitter.com/jpmusicfestival.
