FemSex Boston

Femsex Boston is looking for Fall 2014 participants to join its female gender and sexuality workshop!

Who we are: Femsex is a community-based organization focused on exploring female experiences and identity.  Through The Femsex Workshop, we hope to build a space for participants to share their stories, to engage in honest and open dialogue about topics that are often tabooed or silenced, and to explore and challenge the experiences, the ideals, and the externalized and internalized structures that have been defining gender and sexual identity for generations.

The Workshop:  The Femsex Workshop is a peer-facilitated 16-week workshop that uses peer-to-peer learning, readings, discussions, and self-exploration to engage participants in an honest and open dialogue about female identity.  We are looking for participants for our Fall 2014 season starting August 26 and continuing until December 19.  We welcome participation by anyone who has ever had experience identifying with being female/a woman, including: individuals of many different gender identities (including individuals who are transgender, genderqueer, pangender, intersex, transsexual, gender fluid,and cisgender women), all races, nationalities, sexual orientations, sexual experiences/interests, religious affiliations, political leanings, ages (18 and over), income levels, and occupations.  At this time, we unfortunately cannot accommodate cis-gendered men.
