House Slam @ Haley House 2nd & 4th Fridays

The House Slam

2nd and 4th Fridays, Doors open at 6:30 pm.  Each House Slam event offers an eclectic open-mic, a polished featured poet, and a competitive poetry slam. The Slam offers a safe space for poets seeking to express themselves. And the poets aren’t just good – they’re national champions! The House Slam team went out to Oakland, CA for the 2015 National Poetry Slam and brought the title back to Roxbury. This article features photos and videos of the championship-winning poets.
