in time for the new school year, the ICA and SOWA galleries at 450
Harrison Street have joined forces to offer a fun new twist on art
education—First Fridays: Back to School. Learn about Boston’s dynamic
contemporary art scene from those best in the know: the city’s artists
and curators. Mingle with local artists at the SOWA galleries, then
head to the ICA for a relaxed, curator-led tour of the museum
introducing you to today’s leading contemporary artists and art world
trends.

the two locations so visitors can experience the full range of events
at the ICA and SOWA galleries. Trolleys will depart from the ICA and 450
Harrison Street every 30 minutes between 6-8:30pm. Trolley
transportation generously provided by Super Tours.
The ICA Water Cafe will feature a small plates menu and full bar. The specialty cocktail at First Fridays: Back to School is an appletini. The complimentary drink will be house choice. This event is 21+.
