Implicit Bias Workshop July13

Are you interested in how implicit bias affects your interpersonal interactions and influences your organization and workplace culture? Come to our workshop on July 13th at MassHousing on 1 Beacon Street in Boston from 9:30am-12:30pm.

Implicit biases are our unconscious associations, buried in our subconscious, that generate feelings and attitudes about other people based on race, ethnicity, age, and other identity traits. We all have biases that we are unaware of, and they significantly impact how we move through the world and interact with others. This workshop will introduce participants to the concept of implicit bias: what it is, how it develops, its impacts in the workplace, and research-based debiasing strategies. You will come away with a better understand of your own unconscious biases, and with practical strategies to reduce them and their impact on your beliefs and actions.
