What a better way to celebrate 47 years but with a New Orlean's style Brass Band Parade as funeral procession of sorts.  Our doors will open at 4pm for entrance where we will have 2 short sets from each of our local, awesome brass bands Revolutionary Snake Ensemble and Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society.  Then we begin the procession out our doors, into Davis Square, locking the doors behind us and finishing with a gathering out in Statue Park across from the Somerville Theater.  All ages are welcome.  

First 500 people get a Johnny D's imprinted Second line Hankerchief to wave as we parade! This will be a memory for a lifetime and it would mean so much to us if you came along our last journey.

Johnny D's greatness is a culmination of all of us. We thank you all for being the best customers and

supporters ever and we look forward to celebrating and bidding a proper farewell with you!!
