We're looking forward
to meeting you for a fun, easy and useful session of breathing and meditation
practice! We started this club to gather a community of people who are
interested in using these practices for personal growth and social
responsibility. We will learn about 'dahnjon' breathing based on practices from
Dahn Yoga and ancient Korean healing techniques. We will also have a
chance to talk about the connection between traditional meditation practices
and modern scientific understanding of consciousness and the brain, and then
experience meditation for personal growth and creating a better society and
world. Please join us and bring your passion to grow as your true self!
Tantra International:
This meetup is
for people interested in sacred Tantra. Intention of this group is to support

Open Awareness
and Meditation Group
Open Awareness
Sangha is a group of friends who meet for meditation and discussion on Monday
nights, 7:30 pm at the Cambridge Friends Meeting House. (The Friends Meeting
House is located at 5 Longfellow Park, Cambridge, MA 02138) The format is very
relaxed and open— anyone interested in contemplative practice is welcome!
At the heart of
these meditation sessions is the silent exploration of what we refer to as Open
Awareness. We all know what it means to feel closed, limited, vulnerable, or
separate. What is it like to allow ourselves to return to our natural condition
of openness, presence, non-separateness and ease? This is what we explore in
our meetings.
Movement and
Creativity
Movement and
Creativity are vital to our lives. When we direct our focus to deepening
connections to ourselves, each other and life itself, our experience of life
becomes fertile, rich, vibrant.
Movement:
classes, workshops, experiments, performances, curiosity, discovery.
Creativity: art, music, process, creation, discussion, experiencing, learning.
Creativity: art, music, process, creation, discussion, experiencing, learning.
The body is the
physical aspect of the personality and movement is the personality made
visible.- Mary Starks Whitehouse
