Many families struggling with depression
do not seek help because they are afraid or ashamed. Strides Against
Stigma is a unique event dedicated to raising awareness of depressive
disorders and building a community that will erase the stigma of
depression. Unlike a traditional walk-a-thon, participants will spend
their day at a single location - Boston University - engaging in a
variety of fun, educational, and entertaining activities while counting
their strides on pedometers.
We
are currently looking for volunteers and local groups and organizations
to form their own teams and join us on Saturday, April 27th at
Nickerson Field on the Boston University Campus. Please see below for
event details and other important information. If you have any
questions regarding the event, please email Anna at Anna@plumproductionsinc.com
