With the second largest population on the planet and a huge number of attractions, India is fast becoming a premier destination for many travelers. It's a land with a storied history and incredibly rich culture. Artist, musician, and yoga instructor Natasha Collette will share a cultural introduction to northern India. In this travel talk, she covers some basic travel necessities about being a tourist in India, and some experiences from her most recent trip there. From a rural ashram rooted in traditional Hindu culture, to a bustling artistic center of Rajasthan, and colorful festivals along the way; Natasha will share her love of this fascinating country. The workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. and Indian snacks will be provided!
Location: The event will be held in HI-Boston's Community Room. HI-Boston is located on 19 Stuart Street, between Washington and Tremont streets, conveniently situated near the Chinatown stop on the Orange Line and the Boylston stop on the Green Line.
