Volunteer with Bikes not Bombs
Do you love cycling and want to share that passion with Boston youth? Are you looking for a meaningful way to volunteer with a local non-profit? If so, Adult Instructor Training (AIT) might be for you. This 30-hour course, taught by BNB Youth Employees provides the foundation in bike mechanics, teaching methods, behavior management, and age and gender sensitivity that you need to successfully volunteer in BNB Youth Programs. In exchange for the free training all you to do is commit to volunteering one afternoon each week in a BNB Youth Program such as Chain Reaction, Earn-A-Bike and Girls in Action. AIT begins in a few weeks and we're ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. Please submit an application if you’re both interested and able to fulfill the training AND the teaching commitment. Below you will find the schedule for the training and the teaching commitment and attached to this email you will find the application and flyer. For more information please contact Elijah Evans at elijah@bikesnotbombs.org or 617-522-0222 x101
