I hope this e-mail finds you well and enjoying your Friday! I wanted to share an exciting storytelling event that HI-Boston will be hosting with massmouth this coming Monday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m..
Event Information: “Lost in Translation” will showcase stories of cultural exploration and miscommunication as participants share some of their most challenging, and entertaining, travel moments. Modeled after poetry slams, massmouth’s story slams invite storytellers—from experienced performers to first-timers—to share a real-life story in five minutes. Ten individuals are chosen at random to tell their story about their travels. The audience will vote for their favorite stories and winners are awarded with a prizes provided by Hostelling International Boston.
Location: The event will be held in HI-Boston's Community Room. HI-Boston is located on 19 Stuart Street, between Washington and Tremont streets, conveniently situated near the Chinatown stop on the Orange Line and the Boylston stop on the Green Line.
Registration: To RSVP, please visit http://travelstories.eventbrite.com/. For more information on massmouth, please visit http://massmouth.org.
