24 Hour Bakery-Bova's North End Bakery

"Sometimes you just need a fresh-baked cannoli at 3 in the morning. Good thing A. Bova & Sons bakery is open 24 hours a day with a huge selection of just-made breads, pastries, cakes and cookies. If you choose to pass on the tiramisu, neapolitans, black-and-white cookies, and cream puffs, you also can’t go wrong with the pizza, subs, and calzones served until 3 a.m. (The standout: the spinach-and-cheese calzone.) Family owned and operated for three generations, Bova’s is a good place to go to escape from the more touristy venues of the North End. The retro-looking sign declares it the place for the North End’s “famous” Italian bread, but this mom-and-pop joint will feel like your little secret. Bova’s Bakery

Bova’s Bakery – Family-owned and operated since 1932. For over three generations, Bova’s has made all their homemade products fresh daily with only the healthiest ingredients.
Visit us and celebrate a family history made around the oven. North Enders will tell you, there’s nothing quite so comforting as walking home in the early morning with a warm loaf of bread carefully cradled in the crook of your arm. Once home, you sit down at the kitchen table, sneak the butter from the fridge, and open a jar of jam. With mounting anticipation, you prepare for a delicious breakfast.
We know you can picture it. But don’t worry – there’s always something warm and tasty waiting for you at our store at the corner of Prince and Salem. Start a habit today.
