La Galería at Villa Victoria Center for the Arts, a program of IBA

Puerto Rico’s rich beauty is rediscovered in this solo show from Villa Victoria’s own Rafael Angel Carrasco-Vázquez. The artist’s folkloric paintings, sculpture and mixed-media work shine with his passion and nostalgia for the island’s verdant landscapes and complex history. Carrasco explores the meaning of place through symbols, colors and emotions.
