(4) Downtown Crossing WFNX Block Parties Off To Swinging Start
The 2012 WFNX Downtown Crossing Block Parties,
co-hosted by the Downtown Boston BID, got off to a sizzling start last week with a show by the Swinging Johnsons (above). Free appetizers from downtown's Elephant & Castle restaurant made the show particularly sweet. The Block Parties roll on each Thursday, from 5-8 pm, through August 30. Each week features free appetizers from a rotating cast of downtown restaurants. The Johnsons will be performing at most of the parties
