Jamaica Pond is beautiful, and I would say the perfect length for a run (although I certainly am no real runner).
But then you're in Jamaica Plain, and you can hit up the illest thrift store Boomerangs (that donates 100% of its profits to AIDS survivors), or the original JP Licks, maybe a sceazy but warm bar or too.
