The Movement Festival
"in Partnership with Boston GreenFest 2012
We are very excited this year to forge a wonderful partnership with The Movement Festival. The first annual event, created by Sean Fielder of the Boston Tap Company and Lino Delgado of the Floorlords, The Movement Festival aims to bring dance and movement into the lives of many people across our communities.
The more we move and the more we listen to our internal rhythms, the more we tune in to ourselves and our connection with the world around us. The partnership with The Movement Festival is more than a mere combination of festivals, it is the joining of missions. The mission of being kinder to oneself, realizing one's fullest potential, and in turn being kinder to the next person, the next plant, the next animal, and the place we live in.
On Sunday, August 19th, The Movement Festival will be on Boston City Hall Plaza with Boston GreenFest, from 10 am - 5 pm. There will be free dance and movement classes offered along with wonderful performances on the Boston Metro Main Stage. The EcoBazaar and Food Emporium will be open. "
