Events week of July 10

The French Cultural Center in Boston is celebrating its 27th Bastille Day Party from 6pm to 11pm, the epic dance party will take over Back Bay's Marlborough Street between Berkeley and Clarendon. Expect performances from lightening fingered guitarist Diblo Dibala and Franco-funk band Sarazino, plus gourmet French munchies, beer and wine. Reserve tickets at frenchculturalcenter.org


Fort Point Music Series- on the wharf, just outside the museum doors, this evening series caters to  young professionals. Lounge atmosphere and accentric sounds. July 11 kickoff-- first of four weekly installments, features Boston sax legend Elan Trotman, gourmet appetizers and cocktails, and magic-hour dancing. Starts at 530, admission is free.

  • EACA will be having an open house showcasing the newly set program for the community. We will be offering the following classes: Amharic, tigriniya, arts & crafts, creative & critical thinking (CCT), basic computer, fitness, and dance, we will also be having basketball tournaments. Join us and bring families and friends interested. It is open to Africans and non Africans as well. We are accepting all ages starting from 6 year olds.

    We will also be having refreshments and a traditional bunna (coffee) ceremony.
